The last 5 days in one post :)

Sorry for the delayed posting, but i have been occupied planning a birthday party, shower, and doing homework. So i'm going to post all the funny's in one post.

Last week we going through mcdonalds drivethrough and maddox said "mama, is that your wallet". I said "yes, it is". He said "ok, i won't throw that one in the sink". I said "have you thrown one in the sink before" and he refused to answer me. He wouldnt' tell me who's wallet he threw in the sink or anything. Funny boy, keeps me laughing.

One night we went to walmart around 9:00 pm. When we were walking across the parking lot, i was holding maddox's hand and he stopped and looked up at robbie and said "daddy, hold my hand, there are cars". Me and robbie just busted out laughing. We then went to the craft section and i found some clearance fabric, which totally made me happy and i needed some cut. If anyone has ever tried to get fabric cut at 9:00 at night, it's very difficult to find someone in the whole store to do it. Anyways, i got stuck with the electronics guy to cut the fabric LOL. But while he was cutting the fabric, maddox kept saying "don't cut your finger off" and "did you know i poop in the potty now" and "can i have your orange sissors". The man kept ignorning him and finally maddox had enough and said "mama, he is not hearing me". The guy started laughing and of course i was already laughing from embarassment about the pooping part.

Lately, we have been having a hard time with maddox and his constipation. I have to coach him into using the bathroom by giving him praises, etc. Well the other day i was using bathroom and he walked into the bathroom and said "mama, you want me to hold your hand" and i said "no, hunny it's ok, i'm just peeing". So afterwards when i flushed he started clapping and said "mama, i so proud of you". Bless him and his little heart. He sure keeps me laughing!

Poor little guy

I don't really have any funny stories today, but i do have a sad thing happen last night. About 2:30 am this morning maddox woke up screaming and crying really loud. He was having a night terror. (For those of you who don't know, i have night terrors and have had them since the 6th grade. I have them almost nightly and it's a very awlful thing to go through. It's really embarassing and thankfully robbie is very understanding and helps me through them. )

Anways, when he was screaming and crying, it about scared me to death.I tried to calm him down the best i could and tried to hold him, but he wouldn't let me. Finally after about 2 minutes, he calmed down and layed back down. He told me that "the turtles" were getting him. I felt so sorry for him. All i could do is cry because i know what it's like to go through that. It's so hard to experience something like that and not understand. I just PRAY that he will not have to live a life with night terrors like i do. It's very miserable and when i was growing up, i would be so worried about having one when spending the night with a friend that i would not sleep. Breaks my heart :(

One proud mama

Today was a "stay inside because it's raining" kind of day. Didn't go anywhere or do much. I did however work on some pinterest stuff and burnt the crap out of my fingers on the glue gun. Some funny stuff maddox did today was for about 3 hours he kept saying he needed to potty. Well everytime i would take him, he would strain like he needed to poop, but he couldn't. So i gave him 3 juice boxes and finally he was able to go. But everytime i would put him on the potty, he would say "mama, you proud of me" or "mama, you proud of your boy". He was so cute. I know that most of these stories are about going to the potty, but what can i say.....that's what is big in our house right now LOL.

One thing i did forget to share, last thursday when i had to leave to go to school, i was feeding maddox hotdogs with ketchup and mac-n-cheese. I looked over at him and he was putting ketchup on his chin. I said, what are you doing. He said "mama, look i'm santa clause....ho ho ho ho." It was quiet hilarious! I grabbed my phone and took a pic before he could wipe it off.

Happy Birthday Maddox

We had a wonderful day with just the three of us. We ate pizza for lunch, a trip to walmart, watched disney movies, had hamburgers and mac-n-cheese for dinner, and sang happy birthday with cake. It was a wonderful day! Maddox of course loved every minute of the day, especially spending it with mommy and daddy.

One thing he did today that was funny, was we were in the living room and he was squirming like he needed to use the bathroom. I said "Maddox do you need to pee".....and then he started dancing around like he really needed to pee. He said "No mama, i'm just dancing, i don't need to pee". It was so funny.....he really did need to pee though.

Robin Hood and Maid Marian

Well, i'm sorry that i haven't wrote an entry in a couple of days, but i have been in valdosta for school. I don't have any funny stories because maddox was with robbie's mom and they aren't as funny when i don't hear them myself LOL. So here is the funny story for today:

Tonight we were watching Robin Hood (my favorite disney movie) and when the character maid marian came on, maddox said "mama, that's you" and said "daddy, that's you....your robin hood". Then he said that Little John was lewis, robin hood's best friend and Frier Tuck was Tommy. We just died laughing because he was so serious about it.

Baby Spanking, please mama

Today was a rather interesting and funny day. While Maddox was using the potty, of which we are 100% potty trained :)......go maddox, he said he had to pee, but i think he really had to poop. I said, Maddox pee in the potty. He sat there a minute and said "Mama, i can't....i think my pee wee is broken"....of course i laughed and looked at me so seriously. It was so cute.

Today while i was on the phone, maddox came and told me that he had to poop. I told him to go tell his daddy to help him. After i got off the phone, maddox told me again, i have to poop. I thought robbie had helped him and robbie said that he did poop. Well he must have not got all the poop, because he had a little coming out. LOL. Leave it to a man to do a woman's job LOL.

Then, while i was giving him a bath he kept drinking the bath water and i kept getting on to him. When he did it again, i said "maddox if you do that one more time, i am going to spank you". A few minutes later, he was again drinking the water. I said "ok, maddox i have told you and warned you and now i am going to give you a spanking". I went and grabbed a towel and walked back into the bathroom and he said in a really sweet voice "Mama, will you please given me a baby spanking instead of a big spanking". I started laughing so hard that i couldn't give him a spanking.

Last, while we were watching T.V tonight, a commercial came on for a new hair removal razor looking thing. Maddox said "Mama, i want one of those". I said "maddox, that is for adults, you don't need one". Maddox said "but i want one". Me: "maybe when you get older". Maddox said to himself "Santa Clause will get me that, i know he will".

Cowboy Baby!!!!

Well, today me and maddox ventured to find a cowboy hat, shirt, and belt for his birthday attire. But first we visited where the party would be held, and i tell you.....it's gonna be AWESOME! I can't wait! Im super excited about his clothing and we now have a full outfit for the big day. Unfortunately i don't have a picture today. Maddox didn't get a nap at all today, so he passed out at 8:00 tonight....poor little guy. BUT i can report today that i think.......maybe.......we are officially potty trained. He was accident free today, super excited.

Now for Maddox's funny-isms for the day. Today we were going to blairsville and passed the gas station at ingles. Maddox said "mama, are we going to get gas". Me: "no, not today". Maddox: "Oh do we have to go to Georgia and get it? It's cheaper there". BAHAHA.....i guess he had heard me say "gosh, we will get gas in Georgia, it's cheaper there LOL. Lord that kid is funny!

I want a Keep mama......

Last night after Maddox and Daddy watched Superman/Batman......maddox said that he wanted a "Keep" (cape). So he was running around the house with his "mimi" (his blankie) as he cape. He then proceded to put a cape on pheebee and say that she was his "super dog". I was lucky enough to get a picture.

Today we ventured to walmart to find materials to make a cape for maddox and was lucky enough to find a cape that i could sew a logo on the back......super excited and pics to come. When we got home, maddox insisted on trying on his cape and "new to us" cowboy boots that a friend was so kind enough to give us (THANKS SHANDA!!!). Again, i was sooo lucky to capture this picture on camera. He was hilarious!!! He was running around in his underwear, cape, and cowboy boots.

I am pleased to report that maddox only had 1 accident today and HE POOPED IN THE POTTY TODAY. I am sooo proud of him. It's like overnight that he has started doing well with potty training. Also, he is now standing up to pee, which is totally awesome, considering i don't use public restrooms and now when i take him in a public restroom, he won't have to sit on the potty (unless it's to poop).

Last, the funny part of today maddox said to me as we were coming back from walmart, "mama, where are we going" I said, "maddox, i have to get gas" Maddox said "well, i guess that ok with me". Me: "well maddox i'm glad you approve". Lord he is so funny!

Maddox is Supermam

Today was a relaxing day and we have gained some success with the potty training. For the FIRST time tonight, he came running and said "Mama, i go pee pee" So we ran to the bathroom and he pee pee in the potty. Afterwards we clapped and did the "potty dance" and he said " I feel like supermam mama". Boy i love that kid! I'm so proud, He has wore underwear all day and only had 1 accident all day. He even made it all naptime in underwear with NO accidents. I'm so proud of him. I just hope this keeps up. After last night's accidents, i for sure thought he would be going to college with a pack of depends LOL. I do believe we are not going to do pullups anymore. Just do strickly underwear so he doesn't get confused.

Some funny things he has done today include coming upstairs while i was getting out of the shower and saying "mama, i stuck my hand in water, and there was no fish" Apparently he went "fishing" in the sink where robbie had made soapy water. At least it wasn't toliet water, right? Another funny thing he said today was "mama, fruit snacks make my tummy feel better". Boy he sures knows how to get what he wants.

NEEDS IDEAS!

Ok, not much stories for the life of maddox today except we went and spent time at Uunt B's house and saw Aunt Crittle and lathan/Kasen. It was fun except we missed aunt ken and didn't get to see Uncle Gravy-which is what Maddox calls Cullin-crystal's husband.

But anywho, i need ideas guys for a photography business name. I am looking into starting back photography in full swing, but need a new name. I need something cute, but simple and professional. So all ideas are welcomed and look for the debut of my photography to take full swing by March :) Please no corny suggestions like Shutterbug. I'm wanting something different and unique. THANKS :)

Be careful what you say.......

So today was a learning lesson for me. Of course with a almost 3 year old, you learn something new everyday. But today i learned that you have to be VERY careful what you say around toddlers. We were at Robbie's parents house tonight and maddox got frustrated because his Nana's laptop was on the couch and in his way, so i heard him say "move you stupid laptop". I about fell over. How in the world could i tell him not to say that word, when i am guilty of saying stuff like that. Of course his nana, papa, me and robbie kinda cuckled because it was the first time he ever said anything like that. After we left and got home, i was looking for the tape and dangit i could not find any. I was running through the house looking everywhere. I was fixing to walk upstairs and see if i could find any and i heard "Flipping tape, where are you"......OMG i did it again! Maddox was going around the house saying Flipping Tape. Of course i was super glad that he didn't say the other word, but Flipping? Gosh i have to watch what i say! Now on to the fun stuff maddox did today.

For the first time, he only had 2 wet diapers today......that is HUGE for us. So we are on our way to being potty trained! Maddox also colored and acted very interested for the first time (which is a picture i've attached). ALSO, maddox chewed gum for 2 hours without swallowing it and when he asked for something to drink, he spit it out in the trash can.....huge step from before.

Another funny story that happened, we were at the mexican restaurant tonight eating dinner and maddox pointed to the booth behind us and said "look mama, wonderpets". I turned around and there was a booth full of latino men behind us and one had cornrows in his hair and maddox kept saying he was a wonderpet (it's a show on nickledon).

Last, tonight we were in the living room and maddox was running around and hit me, before i could get anything out of my mouth, he said "i go in time out" and put himself in time out. What the heck do you do with that? So i've attached a picture of him putting himself in time out.

Can't Sleep!

Well, since it's 2:27 am and i can't sleep, i thought what better way to start the new year off, than a blog. Not just your ordinary blog, but a place where i can document all of the funny stories and sayings that my Maddox says. I plan to enter these daily and hopefully take a picture of our adventures. I currently am staying at home with him while i'm in graduate school. It has been wondeful staying at home with him and of course he is loving it. Today, as i was cleaning the living room, i ran across a bat mobile that maddox was playing with. I thought it was so cute that he had put batman and robin in the car together. So i had to take a picture of it. So enjoy :) Hopefully i'll have a very interesting story to tell, as i do everyday with Maddox.
